Three Sisters Springs

Crystal River's most famous manatee sanctuary, Three Sisters Springs is a natural wonder where hundreds of West Indian manatees gather during the cooler months. The crystal-clear water offers incredible visibility for snorkeling and kayaking. This protected wildlife refuge allows visitors to swim alongside these gentle giants in their natural habitat. The springs maintain a constant 72°F year-round, making it a perfect thermal refuge for manatees from November through March. Boardwalks and viewing platforms are available for those who prefer to stay dry.
